Velella
S/V Velella is the 1976 27' Ericson I bought to get started sailing in the San Francisco bay. She's a strong, beamy, sloop-rigged boat perfect for the rough waters and heavy winds found around here.
Unfortunately she was slowly sinking from a leaky thru-hull depth sensor, so one of the first things I did as the new owner was get her out of the water to plug the hole.
