I love to hike. I love to camp. Canoe camping, mountain scrambles, walks in parks; hey - being outdoors is fun.
Canoe camping
Ever portage 2km with a 150lb canoe and a 50lb backpack, with the blackflies and mosquitos so thick you can't see the trail, with the trail so tight and muddy your shoes were sucked off a long time ago and there's nowhere to turn around or put the canoe down? Blissful. Not seeing anyone else for two or three days is pretty cool too.
